TEA HAUL

Yesterday I received an exciting little parcel via Royal Mail straight from England. And guess what it contained.. IT'S TEA!! :)

The long awaited parcel...

I always really liked tea but only when I moved to England did I get into that several-cups-of-tea-a-day routine and also found THE TEA - the one nobody can possibly live without. It's the Yorkshire Gold blend from Taylors of Harrogate. Seriously, try it and you will never want to have any other kind of black tea again, I mean EVER! And here's where my problems started: I finished my last pack of self-imported Yorkshire Gold!! "Well", you might think "just go get another pack then!" But that's where the real struggle began, it's just not being sold here in Germany (how I mean HOW is that even possible??). I therefore had to hunt it down on the internet, which luckily I did. It's 160 tea bags so it should last me for a while now.

So when I got up this morning I started the day with a cup of the best tea in the world. And yes, I did have it in a commemorative Kate and Wills mug (my best friend gave it to me for my 21 birthday because we witnessed all the Engagement madness and well we just thought a commemorative mug would be funny - I still think it is..)

Of course I couldn't just leave it at that and went out and purchased some Twinings tea as well. I remembered really liking their 'Green Tea Selection' which is basically different blends of green tea, like green tea + lemon, green tea + jasmine and so on. My eyes also fell on the Twinings Infusions Strawberry & Mango, which I thought would be perfect for making some fruity ice tea - so these two went in the basket. I haven't yet opened them but if the weather treats us nicely on the weekend I'll be sure to give the strawberry and mango ice tea a go.

Are you a tea lover as well? Let me know your favourites in the comments below :)
