Here's a little overview of my favourite fragrances for spring and summer. Lots of fresh and floral notes.
DKNY BE
DELICIOUS FRESH BLOSSOM
I'm
straight up in LOVE with this one! I got it for my birthday a couple of weeks
ago and haven't stopped wearing it since. It honestly smells like spring in a
bottle! It's such a fresh and floral everyday scent. Perfect for daytime or a
night out. This delicious scent comes from grapefruits, cassis, apricots,
apples, rose petals, jasmine and a hint of lily in the valley. I can't imagine
anyone not liking this so if you're on the lookout for a spring scent you
should definitely give this one a sniff!
CHANEL COCO MADEMOISELLE
Chanel just
know how to do perfumes! Chanel Nr. 5 was one of the first perfumes in my
collection and I'm still loving it, I find however that as it is a rather heavy
scent it's more appropriate for winter time. Not so Coco Mademoiselle! This one
is another springy fresh scent, so absolutely perfect for the current warmer
weather! It's described as being "oriental-fresh, a floral jasmine-rose
accord, as light as a petal" and I think that is a very accurate
description. It lingers on the skin for ages which is definitely another plus.
LANCÔME TRÉSOR MIDNIGHT ROSE
This scent
works all round the year. I'd describe it as a romantic and mysterious scent.
Lancôme says this perfume was inspired by the violet skies of Paris at dusk,
and doesn't that sound proper romantic? It smells of raspberries, rose,
jasmine, primroses, vanilla and black currents. It's been my go to fragrance for nights out
since I got it, because I find the scent so very special and don't we all want
to feel special and yes, sexy, on nights out?
JILL SANDER SUN DELIGHT
I'm on the
third or fourth big bottle of this by now and I think I'll be repurchasing it
for the rest of my life! It's the perfect spring/summer scent that makes you
dream about white beaches and swims in the sea while the sun is shining bright.
Have I got you dreaming? It smells fresh and floral of passion fruit, bergamot,
vanilla and orchids and will definitely come with me on my summer holiday.

Oh I never tried Vera Wang perfumes, thank you for the recommendation I will check them out! I absolutely love vanilla scented everything so if I find it in a perfume it's very likely I'll take it home with me haha :) Love your blog Jessie, new subscriber right here :) x
