I have been craving a good ole' bowl of ramen ever since autumn came around and the temperatures dropped. Simply because there's nothing more comforting than a warming soup with ALL the flavours on a cold and rainy London day. So naturally we made our way to Bone Daddies, just off Wardour Street in London's lovely Soho! The first thing I really liked about the place was that they don't take any reservations, you simply turn up, sit down and slurp your ramen! ;-)

Woooooow... long time no see! I know I've been pretty absent from this blog for almost a month now and there will be a little blog post explaining a little more about what's been going on and why I haven't been on top of everything blog but seriously where has the past month gone?!?! It's like I blinked and October turned into December! I have however still managed to take heaps and heaps of photographs these past couple of months here in London so I thought - as a picture is worth a thousand words - I'll just show you what's been going on in a couple of snaps from my autumn in London.

I'm coming at you with another photo diary! Yes I'm beginning to think I've missed my true calling as a nature and cityscape photographer haha! But last week me and my equally as photo-taking-mad friend Helen met up in Richmond to explore the wilderness that is Richmond Park. I guess by now you guys can sense a theme in my preferred London locations.. they're all rather less city more nature.. well I guess you can take the girl out of the country but you can't take the country out of the girl. However much I love this city and generally living in any city there's just nothing quite as calming as being out in nature. Breathing some fresh air, pondering the important questions in life with a friend (not ever coming to a conclusion though obviously haha!) and just generally getting a new and clearer perspective on things. But I stop going on about all of this now and just let you enjoy the beauty of Richmond Park for yourself in this little Photo Diary :)

So last Saturday me and my friend Helen started our day with a healthy power lunch at Tanya's in Chelsea. If you don't know Tanya's, it's little café that serves raw food only. There's cold pressed juices, smoothies and even an entire page of cocktails on the menu - all uncooked! Helen had been there before so I got some good tips on juices worth trying and after studying the menu for 'only' about 30 minutes we both decided on meals we were quite happy with!

So it's been a month since I moved to London and by now I've met a few new people, made friends and just realised how beautiful this city is all over again! I can't get enough of getting out and exploring different areas of this gorgeous place, so last week I got on a train to Kew Gardens and spend a sunny day wandering the massive grounds with the lovely Helen. The weather was just perfect for a day out in nature, we had clear blue skies all day and the sun warmed our faces and made everything look at least three times prettier than it already is. So after we spent a few hours in the Royal Botanical Gardens we grabbed some lunch for even more energy and set off walking the Thames Path all the way down to Richmond. Words cannot describe the beauty of that place! If you get the chance, you should definitely take a walk there yourself, but for now let me show you some photos of our day. :)

Hello lovelies! I'm still adjusting to all the new: living in a new city, a foreign country and not really knowing anybody and all that so I struggled a little to find inspiration to blog recently. I can easily get a little discouraged to do the things I love when I'm not feeling on top of things and not at my best. But nevertheless I'm good and I like being in London and walking the streets and parks of my favourite city again! So last weekend I decided to get out of my Netflix rut and grabbed my DSLR and headed west. Notting Hill is such a pretty area of London and I enjoy being there a lot! I've also had a little wander through Kensington gardens and finally ended up in the West End for Wagamamas at Covent Garden and to finally see the Charles Pétillon installation in the market hall in all its light pulsing glory. It's seriously stunning! Here are some snaps from my weekend, and what a sunny one it was!
