You guys! I hope you all had a good start into 2018! After some quiet time to wind down and relax with your loved ones over Christmas and New Year's it's high time to get back into the swing of things with juggling work, a household and a social life. As many of us will have started the new year with a bunch of resolutions and goals that involve being more active or working out more or something along those lines I thought it would only be right to share with you my favourite indie workout playlist.
As you might know from (all) of my social media I recently went to see Bear's Den play live at Strom Club in Munich. It was AMAZING! I loved their set! It was quite an intimate show, in a small venue with not too many people crammed in and me and my friend got a spot right in front of the stage (absolutely essential if you're a dwarf like me..!) so it couldn't have been more perfect. The support act - Alex Vargas - who I've never heard of before was incredibly good as well and I spend a lot of time listening to his songs now! Bear's Den however totally rocked the stage. They seem like super nice guys and are funny as well! The band played three of their songs acoustic so the whole venue went all quiet and it was absolutely magical! I for one wanted it to last forever.. or at least to have them play at my place the next day.. and the day after.. and so on.. for all eternity.. but oh well, I'm back to listening to the album over and over and over again haha.
Okay so Bear's Den is
not exactly breaking news anymore I am aware of that. Actually I think if you
haven't heard of them before now you might just be living under a rock. Last
year I was listening to their song 'Agape' on repeat after it's been featured on
XFM's 'Great X-Pectations' list, where they feature up and coming artists that
they predict people will love in the year to come (and hopefully after that of
course..)
I realised I haven't really done a music post yet. Except for my workout playlist which you can find here. I quite enjoy finding new bands and artists to add to my paylist so I thought why not share my current favourites with you guys and maybe you like them too?
