It's the most wonderful time of the year! I love Christmas time for all it's bright lights and cosiness. The scent of biscuits and mulled spices in the air and just the general peace and quiet of the holidays. That's why I also enjoy making my home ready for Christmas, perfect with a tree and little decorations, all the fairy lights, candles and all the decorations.
If you follow me on twitter (which you can do here) you might know that I spent Thursday roaming around IKEA and other furniture and homeware shops because after my recent mega spring clean I felt like getting some new bits and bobs for around the house. As always when I go to IKEA I can't leave the place without heading to the Swedish food shop and get a pack of the 'kanelbulle' or cinnamon swirls as they are so darn good and my own attempts of making them never fail to disappoint. So if you're looking for some homeware inspiration or just wanna check out what the homeware world has on offer, read on.
So, I
went to IKEA. Need I say more? As per usual I bought loads and loads of
extremely necessary items, such as a mug (I only own about a dozen of them so I
did NEED it!) But that's what always happens when you go to IKEA isn't it?
